1. Attention – Have You Recognized Yourself This Year?
Think about it. Half of 2026 is already behind us. Have you ever paused and asked yourself honestly – “What has really changed in me this year?”
We are all so busy running after life that we forget to look at ourselves. We see others progressing, others succeeding, but we completely overlook our own evolution. Do you know how much more capable, aware, or different you are today compared to last year?
This question might make you uncomfortable. But believe me, this is exactly the question that can turn your life around. Let’s begin this journey together – a journey where we discover what true growth really means and how you can become a better version of yourself, starting right now.

4. The Journey of Growth – A Story of an Ordinary Person
Every great journey begins with a single, small step. The story I’m about to share is exactly that – the story of a middle-class boy who had big dreams but no clear path. His father’s aluminum business collapsed, and the entire responsibility of the family fell on his young shoulders. But he didn’t give up.
He dropped out of college in his third year. He did every odd job you can imagine – from network marketing to selling household items. He tried modeling, learned photography, and in 2003, he photographed 122 models, clicking over 10,000 pictures in just 10 hours and 45 minutes – setting a Limca Book of Records in the process.
But even then, he didn’t feel fulfilled. He realized that success is incomplete unless it has a purpose. In 2006, he founded the Images Bazaar – which today is the world’s largest Indian stock photo collection, with over 1 million images and more than 7,000 clients across 45 countries.
This story is not just about one man. It’s about every single person who decided to change their thinking, trusted their effort, and refused to accept defeat.
Another wise thinker puts it beautifully – “Most people don’t struggle because they lack talent. They struggle because their inner programming is pulling them in the wrong direction.”
That means your growth starts with your thoughts.
—
5. Step One – Recognizing Your Own Thinking
“Learn to control your thoughts, or your thoughts will control you.”
Your thoughts are your world. If you keep telling yourself you are a failure, you will fail. If you believe you can’t do anything, you won’t. But if you believe you can face any challenge – the world will eventually bow down to you.
According to modern wisdom, your thought loop – what you think about all day – decides the direction of your life. Whatever you repeatedly tell your mind becomes a command for your brain.
This year, you have already grown if you have started noticing your own thinking. Maybe you noticed – “I am not as negative as I used to be,” or “I control my anger much better now.” That, my friend, is real growth.
—
6. Step Two – Accepting Your Failures
“Success comes from experiences, and experiences come from bad experiences.”
Failure is not a sin – it is a lesson.
One of the greatest minds once said, “You might have failed, but you are not a failure until you give up.” That means you may lose a battle, but you are not a loser – not until you stop fighting.
Here’s something to think about – most of your beliefs are not even your own. They were given to you by your school, your society, or your family. But have you ever asked yourself – are they really true?
This year, you grew the moment you accepted your failures and decided to learn from them. Maybe a project didn’t work out, an exam didn’t go your way, or a relationship fell apart – but you didn’t quit. You got back up. That is growth.
—
7. Step Three – Believing in Yourself
“What people think about you is not important. What you think about yourself means everything.”
The biggest growth happens when you stop seeing yourself through other people’s eyes and start seeing yourself through your own.
Another powerful thought says – “Stop criticizing yourself for your failures and start appreciating yourself for your achievements.” It sounds simple, but it’s incredibly hard. We tend to magnify our mistakes and minimize our victories. This habit needs to change.
This year, you grew the moment you started trusting yourself. Maybe you started something new, learned a new skill, or made a tough decision – and you did it. You had faith in yourself. And that faith carried you through.
—
8. Step Four – Never Stop Learning
“The person who knows exactly why they are doing something, what they are doing, and how to do it – nobody can stop them.”
Learning is a journey, not a destination.
The man from our story never stopped learning. He left college, but he started reading the book called ‘Life‘ much more seriously. He took something valuable from every experience – whether it was network marketing, modeling, or photography.
Here’s another brilliant observation – “The world didn’t suddenly become spiritual. It became exhausted. And people finally realized that the brain is the first machine they should have learned to operate.”
This year, you grew because you learned something new. Maybe you picked up a new language, mastered software, or simply learned how to understand yourself better. That is the greatest education of all.
—
9. Step Five – The Spirit of Giving
“Contribute something to society. If you have more than you need, share it with those who need it most.”
True growth happens when you start thinking about others.
One of the most inspiring lessons from this journey is the value of sharing. He started free seminars, motivated thousands of people without charging a single rupee. His belief was simple – “When you love your work, money will come on its own. But when you love money, no matter how rich you become, you will never be satisfied.”
This year, you grew when you thought about giving. Maybe you helped someone, advised a friend, or simply lifted someone’s spirits. That is the most beautiful kind of growth.

10. Conclusion – Your Growth Is Your Identity
So, once again – How have you grown this year?
Maybe you changed your mindset – moving from negative to positive.
Maybe you accepted your failures – and grew wiser from them.
Maybe you started believing in yourself – and did what once seemed impossible.
Maybe you learned something new – and expanded your capability.
Maybe you started giving to others – and found true joy in it.
A famous saying reminds us – “You are the source of happiness. You don’t need anybody to make you happy.”
Another wise voice echoes – “If your strategy is strong but your life still feels stuck, the problem isn’t your plan. It’s the old code running beneath it. Train the mind first. Everything else starts to listen.”
Take one step today. Ask yourself: “Who do I want to become?” and start moving in that direction.
Because growth is a journey, not a destination. And that journey has just begun.
